Experience

A hand in every Egyptian navigation project since 1987

Beacon specialises in the design, supply, operation and maintenance of navigation aids, navigational guidance and communication systems. We have supplied aids to navigation to every major port authority in Egypt — the Egyptian Authority for Maritime Safety, the ports of Alexandria and the Red Sea, and the Suez Canal Authority among them.

Since 1987 the company has taken part in the region’s marine-safety projects — as supplier, installer or maintenance contractor — across the Gulf of Suez, the Mediterranean, the Gulf of Aqaba, the Straits of Tiran and the approaches to Egypt’s ports, building deep bench of engineers, technicians and specialists along the way.

We also self-deliver the complementary works a project needs: civil works, steel towers and metal structures, and the supply and installation of buoys, lighthouses, solar systems, lanterns, batteries, voltage regulators and electronic monitoring equipment.

Quality is governed by an ISO 9001-consistent system for both design and implementation, and the company is registered with the Egyptian Federation for Construction & Building Contractors in the disciplines below.
